Berwick woman is new town treasurer

LEBANON - Jeanette Lemay started her new job as full-time treasurer of the Town of Lebanon on Monday and said she is thrilled to be in her new position.

Lemay, who lives in Berwick, most recently had been employed with the Farmington, N.H., school district. Prior to that she had worked in the accounting departments of Portsmouth and Oyster River school systems.

Lemay was born in Montana and grew up in Somersworth, N.H., graduating from Somersworth High School.

After getting an associate’s degree at McIntosh Community College, she received a bachelor’s in accounting from Franklin Pierce College.

Lemay said she was looking forward to bringing her expertise and experience to the citizens of Lebanon.
