Blues keyboard legend Payne to play Opera House

Get on board at the Rochester Opera House for a wild ride with killer rock keyboard legend Bill Payne of Little Feat fame and Truffles’ mix of swampy soul, R&B and Bluegrass.  Add special guest Little Feat drummer Gabe Ford and The Hot Tamale Brass Band. Where will you go?  On an undoubtedly exceptional one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras Halloween Party Bash!  The party takes off on Thursday, October 31 at 8:00 PM (Doors open at 7:00 PM).  Dress up in costume, if you wish!  

Considered by many, including Elton John, to be one of the finest American rock and blues piano artists, Bill Payne has toured and recorded with dozens of musicians such as Pink Floyd, Doobie Brothers, Bryan Adams, Jackson Browne, Stevie Nicks, Robert Palmer, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt and Bob Seger.  

Truffle is “a family, a tribe of vibes; musicians and fans united by the groove, wherever and whenever it can happen”.   The “electrified, rootsy funk machine” has shared the stage with Little Feat, Phish, The Band, Dave Matthew’s Band, David Lindley, The Radiators and Blues Traveler.
