It got a little hairy down near the Lilac Mall yesterday when a Rochester motorist lost control of her car and slammed into the Raspberries Hair Salon and Day Spa.
Marie L. Savio, 64, of Rochester, was driving her 2010 Hyundai Elantra into the Raspberries Salon and Day Spa complex at 10 Chestnut Hill Road when she traveled up over the curb and right into the building, Rochester Police said.
The accident occurred around 9:25 a.m., and may have affected the structural integrity of the building, so structural engineers were called in to make sure the building is safe before the public is allowed to re-enter.
Luckily, no injuries occurred from this incident, which remains under investigation by Rochester Police.
