ROCHESTER - Chandra "Niki" Hawk, née Maria L. Dawdy, 47, of Rochester died Wednesday January 21, 2015 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital surrounded by her family after a courageous two year battle with cancer.
She was born August 14, 1967 in Sioux City, Iowa.
Niki attended Barbazon Modeling School. She enjoyed playing the guitar especially with her dad and Uncle Bob. She loved her animal rescue pets, especially Tinker and Tibo.
As a member of Eckankar her light will shine in the music and love of Spirit.
Members of her family include her mother and stepfather, Donna and Richard Ellis of Rochester; her father, Daniel Dawdy of Sioux City, Iowa; her stepbrother, Jonathan Ellis of Rochester; aunts, Shirley Dodge and her husband William of Dover and Norma O'Brien of Lincoln, Nebraska; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
