ROCHESTER - The Teen Room, at the Rochester Public Library, recently announced a hands-on needle felting workshop on Nov. 13 at 6:00 p.m.

The program offers an opportunity for participants to explore the art of sculpting shapes and figures using wool and special felting needles. All necessary supplies will be provided.

"This program is part of the library's ongoing efforts to engage teens, foster learning, and provide a welcoming space for information, studying, socializing, and reading," said librarian Amy Lemelin. "The Teen Room is always evolving with our teens' needs in mind. Our hope is that teens will turn to the Library as a resource."

For more information about this event and other exciting activities in the Teen Room, please contact Lemelin at amy.lemelin@rochesternh.gov or visit the Rochester Public Library's Teen page at https://www.rpl.lib.nh.us/teens.

Additionally, the Teen Room regularly hosts drop-in activities such as art, STEM, games, book groups, and a dynamic Teen Advisory group that meets monthly to shape future activities.
