ROCHESTER - A Rochester man has been arrested after he used social media to send graphic images and suggestive messages to a minor in Hampton, N.H., culminating with his setting up a Rochester rendezvous with the minor, where he was arrested, police say.

Dustin Bortz, 21, of Rochester, was charged with three counts of Certain uses of Computers.

The minor child involved in this case informed a Hampton School Resource Officer of the inappropriate messages that were sent via Facebook.

A Hampton Detective assigned to the ICAC task force performed an account take over and posed as the minor while communicating with the suspected adult male. Through the investigation and communications with the suspect, it was learned that the male was Bortz.

Bortz was arrested without incident after traveling to a location in Rochester where he believed he was meeting the minor child. Bortz faces an additional charge by Rochester Police for traveling to meet the child. Bortz is currently being held on $5,000.00 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
