David Allen Richardson ... accomplished musician; at 68

ROCHESTER - David Allen Richardson, 68, of Rochester, born May 31, 1955, to Gordon and Gabrielle Richardson, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Portsmouth Regional Hospital on June 10, 2023, after a long battle with chronic heart disease.
Possessing a passion for music, David was a talented drummer, guitarist and singer, in addition to collecting and playing instruments common and rare. He was also a carpenter, auto body repairman, loving husband, father, animal lover, and a friend to many.
David never shied from a project. Whether he was rebuilding cars, building a miniature staircase for his
cats or furniture for his children, he never expected anything but appreciation in return. His quick wit, keen sense of humor, honesty, integrity and strength of character will forever be cherished by those who knew him best.
Eternally holding him in their hearts are his wife of 48 years, Janet Richardson, son Jesse Richardson,
daughter Lisa Stead, sister Gloria Dowse, and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
