Donald L. Beadle ... owned Shapleigh bait and tackle shop; at 72

LEBANON, Maine - Donald L. Beadle, who was born on Aug. 22, 1951, died peacefully at home on Monday, Nov. 6. He was raised in Rochester, N.H., by his loving parents, Erwin and Elizabeth (Godfrey) Fall. Don is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Susan (Dube) Beadle. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and enduring companionship.

Don was a dedicated father to three children, Donna Beadle of Rochester, Dawn Tobin and her husband Art of Portsmouth, and Brian Beadle of Sanford. He was also a cherished grandfather to two grandsons, Ryan and John Tobin, whom he adored and who brought immense joy into his life.

Don leaves behind three sisters: Veronica (Billy) Mattocks, Joyce Fall and Melanie (Ricky) Abbott. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Fall and sister, Vicki Dore.

For the past 25 years, Don owned and operated Beadle's Bait & Tackle in Shapleigh, alongside his son, Brian. This venture was born out of his deep passion for hunting, fishing and the outdoors, as well as his love for connecting with people. Many of his customers turned into lifelong friends. Don's dedication to his business, his boundless knowledge, and his welcoming spirit made Beadle's Bait & Tackle a hub of camaraderie and adventure.

Don's love for the outdoors extended into his personal life. He found joy spending time with friends made over a lifetime, forging lasting memories in the woods, on the water and during countless dinners, parties and gatherings. These connections were a testament to his enduring loyalty and ability to maintain lifelong friendships.

Sports held a special place in Don's heart, he was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. His passion for sports was another way he connected with those around him.

Throughout his life, Don was known for his unwavering love, loyalty, and sense of humor.

His kindness and generosity touched the hearts of many, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
