Donald R. Tragesser ... collected model trains

ROCHESTER - Donald R. Tragesser, 90, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, after a period of failing health.

Donald was born in Massillon, Ohio, on July 28, 1923, the son of Stephen and Helen (Seiler) Tragesser and had been living in Rochester since 2009, moving from Lynbrook, N.Y. He enjoyed stamp collecting, model train collecting and collecting coins. He was an Ohio State Football fan and an avid list maker and enjoyed recording facts.

Surviving members of the family include: one son, Thomas Tragesser of Denton, Texas, two daughters, Karen Tragesser of Long Island, N.Y. and Marianne Gustafson of Rochester. He also leaves two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
