ROCHESTER - Doris L. Taylor of Rochester died peacefully on Sept. 29, 2022. Born Dec. 11, 1930, she is the daughter of Harry R. and Elsie M. Stone (Freeman). She was the youngest and only girl with four older brothers. Doris was born and raised in Rochester, where she met her husband Robert F. Taylor of Barrington who passed away just 7 weeks ago on Aug. 6, 2022.

Doris and Bob together raised their four children, Glenn R Taylor (deceased) Randy R Taylor (deceased) Donna Williams of West Berlin, N.J. and Cindy Bisson of Rochester. After retirement Doris and Bob moved to Florida where they enjoyed taking their grandchildren and great grandchildren to see the many sights and attractions, making new friends along the way. They spent the last few years residing in New Jersey close by to their daughter Donna.

Doris lovingly devoted herself to her family while working part time as a florist, kindergarten teacher, and cake decorator as well as leading the local Girl Scout troop. She was also co-owner of a bridal and formal wear store with her daughter Donna, where she put her many talents to good use organizing annual bridal fairs at Rochester's local mall.

Doris will be missed by her daughters Donna and Cindy, her grandchildren Timothy Hatfield of Barrington, Stephen Hatfield of Peabody, Mass., Eric Bisson of Dover, Tyler Bisson of Rochester and Glenn Adwin of Malvern. Pa. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Hannah Hatfield, Chloe Hatfield, Ryan Hatfield, Thomas Hatfield, Jack Hatfield, Rosie Adwin, Donovan Adwin, James Adwin and several nieces and nephews.
