DOVER - The Strafford County Grand Jury has returned indictments against a Dover man related to drug trafficking activity in Dover.

Michael Duvall was accused of nine counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, including subsequent offenses on Feb. 26 in Dover. Each of the trafficking charges are punishable by up to life in prison and up to 15 to 40 years in prison in the case of the remaining charges.

The substances Duvall is charged with illegally possessing are fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, psilocybin, psilocin, MDA, MDMA, mescaline, and ketamine.

Duvall is also charged with two counts of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and brass knuckles after having been convicted of a felony.

Duvall, 52, was arrested on Feb. 26 at the Downtown Dover Inn at 481 Central Ave. The arrest resulted from an ongoing investigation into suspected narcotics distribution from his hotel room, according to Dover Police.
Following investigative leads, detectives obtained a search warrant for Duvall's room. The search led to the seizure of around 200 grams of cocaine, 100 grams of fentanyl, 170 grams of methamphetamine, 100 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, psilocybin-infused candies, a large quantity of marijuana, brass knuckles, and a handgun.
Additionally, Duvall already had an active arrest warrant obtained by the Dover Police Department for three counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug stemming from an incident last August.
