DOVER - The Fourth Annual Witches' Market, a downtown block party featuring vendors and small businesses specializing in witchcraft, magic, herbalism, spiritual readings, and handmade artisan goods, runs on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
The Market will be set up both indoors in the City Hall Auditorium and outdoors on streets in the vicinity of City Hall.
Due to the crowds expected Dover Police recently announced the following road closures and parking restrictions.
CENTRAL AVENUE (NH Route 108) will be closed to all thru traffic from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM between the intersections of HALE and WASHINGTON STREETS. This is a short stretch of CENTRAL AVENUE between Dover City Hall and the intersection of WASHINGTON STREET.
Parking restrictions will be posted in the following locations to accommodate the event and prohibit public parking:
CENTRAL AVENUE, both sides from HALE to WASHINGTON STREETS
SAINT THOMAS STREET both sides, adjacent to City Hall and LaFesta Pizzeria
BELKNAP (metered) municipal parking lot adjacent to 328 Central Avenue
