EAST ROCHESTER - Edna C. "Lorena" Cyr, 50, of 11 Green St., died Friday, July 11, 2014 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, after a brief illness.

She was born Jan. 20, 1964, in Masbate Masbate, Philippines. She was the daughter of the late Renado and Gloria (Castillo) Cantongjos. She has resided in E. Rochester since 1998 previously living in Dover and Somersworth. She had worked as a pressor for Blue Ribbon Cleaners in Exeter. She also delivered papers for Foster's Daily Democrat.

Lorena was an active member of and volunteered at the Granite State Church of Christ in Dover. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and animals. She especially loved spending time with her family and church family.

Members of her family include her husband of 18 years, Charles W. "Charlie " Cyr of E. Rochester; daughters, Angela E. Davis and Mya A. Maynard, both of E. Rochester; grandmother, Isabel Sanchez of the Philippines.
