ROCHESTER - A Rochester motorcyclist was injured when his Harley Davidson collided with another vehicle Friday afternoon at the corner of Rochester Hill and Haven Hill roads.

The accident occurred around 4:15 when a 2010 Honda Accord, driven by Earl Chase, 81, of Rochester, was turning left from Haven Hill Road onto Rochester Hill Road and struck the 2005 Harley traveling northbound.

The motorcycle, which was operated by Wayne Emerson, 51, of Rochester, struck the driver’s side of the Honda.  Emerson, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what are described as nonlife-threatening injuries. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.

Both Chase and his passenger, Joan Chase, 80, were wearing seat belts and uninjured. They were able to drive the Honda after the accident.

Rochester Hill Road was closed for about 20 minutes during the investigation and treatment of patients.
