BEDFORD - Eversource donated $1,500 to Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, the council serving Girl Scouts across New Hampshire and Vermont, on Tuesday.
Senior Community Relations Specialist Donald Stokes Jr. of Eversource was welcomed to the Bedford council office, where he presented the check.
"Eversource has long been a supporter of scouting in the Granite State and we're thrilled to have the opportunity to help the Girl Scouts achieve their goals," said Stokes. "We're proud to support organizations across the Granite State who make a meaningful difference in the communities where we work and live, and we know how hard Girl Scouts work to make a better world for our neighbors. We look forward to seeing their accomplishments this year."
"They were a great support in sending volunteers during the cleanup of Camp Kettleford in 2024 after vandalization was discovered at the camp property," said Kelli Brown, director of fund development for the council. "We are thrilled we can continue to work with them and build this community partnership."
The Girl Scout council is thankful to partner with Eversource, enabling Girl Scouts to follow their own convictions, take the lead in their own stories, and explore all the extraordinary things they're capable of.
About Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges--whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
