Five-candidate race set to complete Cole's term

LEBANON - The field is set for a March election to determine who will complete the selectman’s term recently vacated by former selectman Jason Cole, who resigned at the end of last year.

Five of six candidates who took out papers returned them with the necessary nominating signatures, including former selectman candidates’ Richard (Chip) Harlow III, Robie Marsters and Corinna Cole along with planning board member Paul Philbrick and political newcomer and transfer station employee Royce Heath.  

At stake is a selectman’s seat to complete Cole’s three-year term, which runs until June 2015.

The election is planned for March 11.
