ROCHESTER - A fire on Sunday destroyed a Habitat for Humanity-built condex that housed two families, according to a Habitat press release received this morning.
The fire at 168 Four Rod Road was a total loss, Habitat officials said.
No one was injured in the blaze.
Rochester Fire officials were not immediately available for comment, but Habitat for Humanity extended its sympathy for the two families affected.
"We are heartbroken for both of these families," a statement read. "They have lost their homes and all the contents within. We are so grateful that no one was hurt in the fire. Grateful too for the fire departments and all who responded."
The Red Cross is helping out with immediate needs of the fire victims.
Meanwhile, a Go-Fund me page has been set up by SENH Habitat to help the families who have been impacted.
