SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Frederick (Bill) William Comfort Jr. died on Jan 3, 2025, at the age of 69 in San Francisco.

He was born May 22, 1955, in Rochester, N.H. to the late Frederick William Comfort Sr and Carmela Comfort.

Bill leaves behind brothers John, Jim and Paul (Karen) Comfort. Sisters, Maryanne (John) Cowles, Carol (Bill) Shost, Gerry (Trip) Cobb and Jane (Jim) Benton, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. And Bill's dear friend Rico De Guzman, who was a constant source of companionship and support throughout his life.

Bill was a 1973 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He furthered his education at Hamline University where he graduated in 1979. He dedicated 40 years of his life to Wells Fargo as an Analytic Consultant and Assistant Vice President.

In his free time, Bill enjoyed traveling back to NH for weddings and family gatherings, and in the Fall to enjoy the foliage. He also enjoyed his trips to the Philippines to visit his aunt and Rico's family. He loved spending time doing genealogy research, uncovering a family tree of over 3,000 ancestors! Bill was known for his generosity and thoughtfulness.
