DOVER - A Gonic man pleaded guilty on Monday to five felonies that included a host of charges from 2022, 2024 and 2025, including burglary, criminal mischief, felon in possession and reckless conduct.

In exchange for pleading guilty Seth Laurion, 29, of Gonic Road, was sentenced to one year in jail on the criminal mischief charge, which was reduced from a felony to misdemeanor.

All the other felony sentences were suspended three years, conditioned on his participation in the county's drug court program.

He also has 89 days of pretrial credit, which means he could be released from county jail in about nine months.

His most recent indictment came in July when he was formally charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon following an attempted motor vehicle stop in Farmington on Jan. 17.
While trying to evade police, Laurion put himself and two passengers in his vehicle at risk of serious injury when he drove his vehicle at speeds of more than 20 mph over the speed limit, "while the passenger doors were opening and closing and (he was) driving in opposite lanes of traffic to evade police," according to the charging document.
Laurion was additionally charged the same day for driving after being certified as a habitual offender.
He was also indicted on charges of forgery of a government check when he attempted to cash another person's check at the Service Credit Union in Rochester in May of 2023.
All three charges are Class B felonies, which each carry a three and a half to seven year prison sentence.
In April of 2018 Laurion was arrested for running a red light while idling next to a Rochester Police cruiser at the corner of South Main Street and Columbus Avenue.
While waiting for the light to green, Laurion ran the red light and was quickly pulled over by the officer, who also discovered a quantity of drugs in his possession.
