GONIC - A Gonic man has been indicted in the burglary of a neighborhood business back in June.

Shawn Cote, 28, of 21 Calef Highway, stands accused of entering R.J.’s Auto in Gonic with the intention of burglarizing the business.

A Strafford County grand jury released the indictment earlier this month.

Burglary is a felony punishable by 3½-7 years in a state prison and a $4,000 fine.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to move forward to trial.
