Gough, Walker, Orr among Noble's Top Ten seniors

NORTH BERWICK, Maine – Three Lebanon students were among Noble High School’s Top Ten graduating seniors this year. They are:

Michael Gough, a summa cum laude graduate, ranking fourth, is the son of Kevin Gough of Lebanon, Maine. Michael has served as a peer mentor, president of the National Honor Society, and he represented Noble High School at the Maine Youth Leadership Conference as a sophomore. He was also a member of the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams. He will be attending Bryant University in the fall as a finance major.

Ranking sixth, Dominique Walker, of Lebanon, Maine is graduating summa cum laude.

She is the recipient of the prestigious Horatio Alger Scholarship, given to deserving young people who have demonstrated integrity, resilience and a commitment to making a contribution to society. Dominique was a member of Noble's cross country team and the indoor and outdoor track teams. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the student council. Dominique plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington as a liberal-arts major in the fall.

Mackenzie Orr, ranking eighth and graduating magna cum laude, is the daughter of Timothy and Lynn Schaaf of Lebanon. Mackenzie participated in the National Honor Society and the outdoor track team. She was a team leader and a mentor to underclassmen at the high school and to elementary school students. Mackenzie is also a member of the Nancy Kelley Breton Dance Team. She is currently working at an assisted living facility, a job she loves because of the difference she can make in people's lives. She plans to attend the University of Southern Maine to pursue a

degree in nursing.

The valedictorian is Elijah Keys, son of Rob and Sandi Keys from Berwick, Maine. Elijah received an AP Scholar Award, the Phi Beta Kappa Award, the Rochester Institute of Technology Innovation and Creativity Award, and the Maine Principal's Award. Elijah was a member of the varsity soccer team, the indoor track team and the cross country team. Elijah is a summa cum laude graduate and a member of the National Honor Society. He participated in the Youth Mentoring Program and Project Search. Elijah plans to attend Babson College in the fall to major in business.
