GRCC unveils start of Small Business Season, urges folks to shop local for holidays

ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce recently announced the launch of its 2025 Small Business Season, a community-wide initiative sponsored by Rochester Economic Development to champion the importance of supporting local businesses throughout the holiday season.

Beginning Nov. 1 and continuing through the end of the year, Small Business Season aims to reacquaint residents with the unique benefits of shopping local and the lasting impact it has on the community.

Small Business Season encourages residents to explore the diverse range of shops, restaurants, and services that make the Rochester community unique. By choosing to shop local, you're supporting your neighbors and contributing to a thriving economy, the chamber noted in a press release. Shopping locally also offers a more personalized and enjoyable experience, with knowledgeable staff and unique products you won't find anywhere else.
