Jarrod Wheeler, a lietuenant with Milton Fire and Rescue, works at the top of a ladder truck as he prepares to affix netting to poles at the Town Beach Field on Monday. About an extra 30 feet of netting is being added at the top to prevent foul balls from landing on White Mountain Highway. The field, which was closed in midseason of the Nute Middle and High School baseball campaign, is expected to be back in business later this week.
