ROCHESTER - Harriette E. Pratt, 87, died on Wednesday July 30, 2025, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital. She was surrounded by the love of her children in her final days, as she was throughout life.

Born April 26, 1938, in Rochester, NH she was the daughter of Harry and Lena (Filiau) Paquette.
Harriette was the family matriarch and led quietly by example. She was kind, giving, engaged and engaging, adventurous, forgiving and fun. Harriette loved spending time with family and friends and contributing to many charitable causes.

Harriette worked for many years at Davidson Rubber - Textron, Gibbs Convenience Store, and was an entrepreneur in her later years creating a wash, dry and fold laundry service. She was very active in Rochester Youth Sports, including East Side Little League, Rochester Youth Football, and Little Red Raiders, and she was later honored to be inducted into the Rochester Sports Hall of Fame. Additionally, Harriette was an active member of the Rochester Senior Center for many years and enjoyed working as part of the decorating committee. Harriette was an adventurous soul who enjoyed travel to Italy, Britain, Ireland, and many locations within the States. She loved crafting (crocheting and coloring), puzzles, casinos, and a simple day at the beach - whether at White Lake State Park or York Beach.

Members of her family include her children Daniel D. Donahue of Rochester, NH; Kevin M. Donahue of Rochester, NH; Kelly L. Roman and husband Ricardo of Selma, NC; and John T. Donahue and wife JoAnn of Sandown, NH; her grandchildren Shawn, Melanie, Keegan, and Trinidad, two great grandchildren Autumn and Isaiah; her siblings James (Sylvia), Gerald (Pauline), Robert (Beverly) and Paul (Tami) Paquette, and Theresa (Michael) Palumbo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family including Rob, Ryan and Brandon Small.

She was predeceased by her husband Harvey in 1999 and her beloved daughter-in-law Carol, and her brothers Henry, Owen, Everest, Ernest, Harold and Howard.
