Have we allowed China to become our future master?

To the editor:

George Orwell's novel 1984 provides us with the political wisdom: "those who control the present control the past and our future."

Thinking back to the nineties, I ask the question: "Should treason have been the reason for the Clinton Impeachment?" Monica Lewinsky was the scapegoat as the Senate conducted a kangaroo trial while President Clinton's alleged solicitation of Chinese money to finance the 1996 presidential campaign was ignored by the Senate.

Treason should have been the reason for impeachment. The December 9th, 2019 issue at TheNewAmerican.com exposes Johnny Chung's fifty-one visits to the White House. He is a Communist Chinese-born businessman who personally donated $360,000 to the DNC. Another Chinese comrade, John Huang, involved in this nefarious activity raised $3,000,000.00 and bragged: "I see the White House as like a subway, you have to use coins to open the gate."

Normally, common sense would dictate that the Chinese-Communist democide of 35 million people should be untrustworthy. Which begs the question: Why do our leaders, one Administration after another, trust them? Today, we suffer the consequences of decades of elected leaders violating laws they are sworn to. Why have they ignored the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1933 that forbids importing slave labor goods?

Americans should ask, why they were not told about the 1973 "ping pong" diplomacy: Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger going to China to repeat the post-WWII Marshall plan. China received the deal of the century, lifting them to legitimacy and power, but ended in a betrayal for the average blue collar American. Have we taxpayers been duped into financing our future masters? If the Deep State Insiders agenda of the Council On Foreign Relations achieves their goal, those who controlled the past will control our future!

This political betrayal and economic idiocy has no bounds. Potential dependence for our food seems to be a hidden purpose. How many Americans know where their poultry comes from, or know all those pretty packages of frozen farm raised fish in the super market come from China? American's ought to ask their Congressmen and Senators: Why has the U.S. Congress acted against what's best for our people by changing the country of origin requirement of U.S law on imported meat to comply with the World Trade Organization's regulations under the threat of a billion dollar fine? Are they so ignorant that they think the World Trade Organization is superior to the U.S Constitution?

Looking back at all these betrayals of common sense adds reality to the fact that too many of the ones we have voted into office promote more than just toxic food, but promote national suicide.
