ROCHESTER - On Tuesday the Rochester Rotary Club, board and staff from Hope on Haven Hill and city officials met to cut the ribbon to officially open a new playspace at the HHH Center for Hope and Wellness. The outdoor space was created by Rochester Rotarians and friends for the children and mothers that utilize the nonprofit's facility.

The project was made possible by funding from a Rotary District #7780 grant coupled with Rochester Rotary funds to purchase the playground equipment, fencing and picnic seating for the center's clients and their kids.

Rochester Rotarians and friends from the community worked to construct all the playground equipment, fences were installed to create a safe space, and Polywood picnic tables were delivered creating a lovely outdoor space that will increase the physical and mental wellbeing of all family members using the Charles Street facility. Many vendors helped provide supplies and items at cost to enhance the scope of the grant and project.
