Hooksett man indicted on charges of threatening harm to Gov. Ayotte

CONCORD - A Merrimack County Grand Jury on Tuesday indicted a Hooksett man on two class A felonies and one class B felony for conduct relating to threats targeting Governor Kelly Ayotte.

The grand jury indicted Tristan A. Anderson on a class A felony offenses of Attempted Harm to Certain Government Officials and, Attempted Throwing or Placing of Explosives and for the class B felony of Threats to Certain Government Officials.

Class A felonies are punishable by up to 7½-to-15 years in state prison and a fine of up to $4,000.00. Class B felonies are punishable by up to 3½-to-7 years in state prison and a fine of up to $4,000.00.

Anderson has been held in custody on preventative detention since his arrest. A dispositional conference in Merrimack County Superior Court is currently scheduled for Jan. 8.

The indictments against Tristan Anderson are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proved guilty at trial.
