ROCHESTER - The Department of Public Works will be temporarily turning off the water in the area of Ten Rod Road, Daytona Drive, Thomas Street, Evergreen Lane, Yvonne Street, Darrell Street, Capitol Circle, Concord Way, and Ebony Drive from 8 Thursday night till 5 a.m. on Friday.
During this time, residents may experience little or no water pressure. This shutdown is necessary to complete work related to the Industrial Way water main replacement.
As a result of this work, residents may notice air in the lines or some discoloration in the water. The discoloration is caused by naturally occurring minerals that have precipitated in the water lines. If needed, please run a cold water tap for a short time to clear your water.
