ROCHESTER - For a few hours Monday afternoon and evening all City IT services will be unavailable for due to a major move of equipment in the datacenter.
Services that will be down include: telephones, email, Internet access, customer self service and access to any network shares, files or programs.
Additionally, the work will affect the city's ability to provide many services to customers, including auto registration, tax payments and utility billing (water/sewer) payments.
The services will be down for about four hours from 3-7 p.m.
This will affect the city's ability to provide many services to our customers during this time, city officials said.
