FARMINGTON - Jeffrey Harrison, 82, died peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, at his home in Farmington, with his faithful K9 companion Kalani by his side, after a period of failing health. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Claire Little Harrison.
Jeffrey was born Nov. 3, 1942, in Salem, Mass., to Charles Harrison and Marion (Fitzgerald) Harrison.
Jeffrey was a firefighter for the city of Danvers Mass., for many years. He was also the owner and operator of Harrison Trucking for 30 years, and a proud Army veteran.
An avid outdoorsman, Jeffrey found joy in hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling, often gathering with neighbors around a barrel fire to share stories and laughter. He was also passionate about golf, spending many days on the course. However, above all, Jeffrey cherished the time he spent with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Jeffrey is survived by two sons, David Champlain and his wife Kathy of Middleton, Mass.; and Jeffrey F. Harrison and his wife Laurie of Rochester. Jeffrey is also survived by his brother Philip Harrison; his twin sister Barbara Correggio; his brother-in-law David Little and his wife Anne of Tewksbury Mass., and his sister-in-law Ros Armstrong and her husband Bill of Aguanga Calif. His grandchildren Todd, Brad, Justin, Allie, Kati, and Tyler, along with 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
