ROCHESTER - Jerry DeSimone, 59, died unexpected at his home in Rochester on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017. He was born Ciriaco "Jerry" DeSimone in Boston, Mass. Sept. 11, 1958. Graduating from Malden Catholic Class of '76.
His love for his family and his passion for cars brought him to work for the family owned business, Chris Auto Body in Salisbury, Mass. There he did both auto collision and mechanics. Starting out being known for his custom exhaust and paint jobs. With his love for helping customers, he quickly became everyone's favorite mechanic.
When he wasn't working he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing defense like Bobby Orr on the ice. He was loved by so many, building many friendships through the years, there are no words to describe everyone's loss. He will be forever missed, and always in our hearts.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly (Rees) DeSimone of Rochester; his mother, Lina (Deluca) DeSimone of Salisbury, Mass; three sons, Race and Heath DeSimone of Berwick, Maine and Paul Curreri Jr of West Peabody, Mass.; daughter, Ashlee DeConinck of Rochester; three grandchildren, Juliana, Layla, and Rocco; his sister, Marilyn Ford and two nephews Billy and Jonathan Ford; cousins, Richard Sciaudone, Rochelle Sciaudone-Destefano, Rose Drelick, Cathy Dolloff, Chris and Daniel DeLuca; and his favorite little companion Mugzie.
