Joseph R. Devost ... served in Navy for 24 years

ROCHESTER - Joseph R. Devost, 90, died Thursday, October 6, 2016, at his home after a period of failing health. Joseph was born in Berlin, N.H., on November 19, 1925, the son of Aime and Yvonne (Robichaud) Devost and had been living in Rochester since 1988, moving from Berlin.
He was a retired Navy veteran after serving 24 years. He was the widow of Pauline (Carorette) Devost who died in 2000.
Surviving members of the family include: two sons, Michael Devost and his wife Deborah of Hillsboro, N.H., and Bruce Devost and his wife Marian of Rochester, N.H. He also leaves four grandchildren, Devin and Olivia Devost and Adam and Kevin Devost, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
