ROCHESTER - Karen Louise Stickles Boudreau, 54 of Rochester, died on Saturday August 9 at the Hyder Hospice home in Dover after a period of failing health.

Karen was born on March 21, 1960 in Dover, the daughter of the late Lawrence V. Stickles Sr. and Mary Potvin Downey of Rochester.

Karen attended Rochester Schools once being voted top female athlete. She was also one of the first to attend the Bud Carlson "alternative school".

Karen would also spend her time tending to her many kitties of which she would come up with her clever nicknames for them.

Karen is survived by her two sons, Rodney Boudreau of Gonic, Justin Boudreau and wife Tiffany of Gonic. Three grandchildren; Coral, Emma and Andrew. Six brothers: Lawrence Stickles Jr., of Farmington, Russell Stickles of Rochester, Rodney Stickles and wife Su of Farmington, Michael Stickles of Farmington, Sean Downey and wife Jamie of Berwick, Maine. Paul Stickles of Rollinsford. One sister: Christine Joy of New Durham and many nieces and nephews, also, Karen's best friend Scott Watson of Rochester. Karen was also very close to her stepfather the late Joseph "Pups" Downey.
