The Lebanon Rescue Department responded to 48 calls for service in December 2013 and treated 73 patients.

The following is a breakdown of the 48 calls for December 2013:

  • Traffic Accidents: 10
  • Assaults: 6
  • Cardiac Emergencies: 6
  • General Illness: 5
  • Seizures: 4
  • Respiratory Emergencies: 2
  • Carbon Monoxide Calls: 2
  • Diabetic Emergencies: 2
  • Patient Fallen with Injuries: 2
  • Mutual Aid to Neighboring Towns: 2
  • Public Assists: 2
  • Burn Victim: 1
  • Choking Victim: 1
  • Overdose: 1
  • Stand by at Fire Scene: 1
  • Stroke Victim: 1

Thirty-three patients went to the hospital. The following is a breakdown of the hospitals:

Frisbie Memorial Hospital            15

  • Goodall Hospital                             8
  • Wentworth Douglas Hospital      6
  • Maine Medical Center                    4

The department had a total of 823 patients and incidents in 2013. This is up from 806 in 2012.
