7-8-13 Tpr. Adam Schmidt stopped a red Dodge Pickup on Rt. 202 in Lebanon for a plate light defect.  The vehicle was operated by RICHARD JACQUES (26 y.o. of Lebanon).  A license check on JACQUES revealed that he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.  JACQUES license was also under suspension for failure to make required payment on fines.  Additionally, Tpr. Adam Schmidt detected the odor of burnt Marijuana in the vehicle.  Tpr. Adam Schmidt found a marijuana pipe behind the driver’s seat.  Tpr. Adam Schmidt arrested JACQUES and charged him with Operating After Suspension (1 prior) and Sale and Use of Drug Paraphernalia.  JACQUES was transported to York County Jail.   

7-9-13 Tpr. Adam Schmidt stopped a Chevy Suburban on River Rd in Lebanon for an expired May 2013 inspection sticker.  The vehicle was being operated by KENNETH HALL (47 y.o. of West Newfield).  A license check revealed that HALL had a suspended license.  HALL was summonsed for Operating After Suspension.  

7-10-13 Tpr. Kyle Wells responded to a PI crash on Route 202 in Lebanon. The operator allegedly swerved to miss a deer and went off the road and struck a tree head on. Tpr. Kyle Wells learned that the operator, CHRISTOPHER MCDONAL (33 y.o. of Biddeford) had a suspended license. MACDONALD was issued a summons for criminal OAS and later transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

7-11-13 Tpr. Kyle Wells charged JEFFREY PRATT (36 y.o. of Sanford) with OAS following a traffic stop on Rt. 202 in Lebanon. PRATT was stopped for a defective brake light.

7-11-13 Tpr. Jeremy Forbes was deputized as a Special Deputy Agent with the FBI reference Operation Moxie. This initiative involves officers from around the state and was organized to investigative pharmacy robberies in Maine and to bring federal charges against any individuals that take part in or plan these robberies. 

 7-12-13 Tpr. Kyle Wells charged CHRISTOPHER GAGNON (38 y.o. of Sanford) with OAS following a traffic stop on Rt. 4 in Alfred. GAGNON was stopped for no inspection sticker.

 7-13-13 Tpr. Jeremy Forbes arrested IAN SAWYER (29 y.o. from Lyman) for D.V. Terrorizing and Criminal Mischief at his home. Subject smashed out windshield of his girlfriend’s vehicle while she was trying to drive away.  Tpr. Michael Pappas assisted at the scene.  

 Tpr. Benjamin Smith summonsed WILLIAM GARLAND (37 y.o. of Parsonsfield) in Hollis for OAS and operating an unregistered motor vehicle greater than 150 days. 

 Tpr. Benjamin Smith arrested CHARLES BELANGER (24 y.o. of Lyman)  for OUI in Dayton. His reported BAC was 0.18.
