DOVER - One of the men who pleaded guilty and spent prison time in a brutal 2015 Rochester home invasion is on the run today after being a no-show at his Tuesday plea and sentencing hearing on drug and theft charges from two arrests in 2021.
A warrant for the arrest of Ryan Tiberio, 30, formerly of Dover and Berwick, Maine, is in the process of being filed, Strafford County Attorney Tom Velardi said Tuesday afternoon.
Tiberio had agreed to admit to the crimes in a capped plea deal on charges of theft in connection with a March 2021 arrest and drug trafficking, drug possession and falsifying physical evidence charges from a July 2021 arrest.
In September 2016 Tiberio pleaded guilty to an infamous Academy Lane home invasion and was sentenced to 2-5 years in state prison.
Three others were involved in the nighttime attack during which a handgun was brandished and one of the victims was threatened with a box cutter to the throat.
Tiberio pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery for telling his three accomplices there were 12 fingers of heroin at the Academy Street apartment and knowing a robbery was going to occur.
