MANCHESTER - A Manchester man who led police on a Interstate 93 chase reaching speeds over 130 mph was arrested at his home on Monday after police called off the pursuit due to dangerousness.

The incident unfolded Monday night around 10:15 when a NHSP State Trooper spotted a vehicle traveling at speeds over 100 mph while failing to maintain lane control on I-93 North. The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle - identified as a 2013 Infiniti G37X - but the vehicle did not stop and a pursuit ensued.

During the pursuit, the vehicle continued at speeds of 130 mph and continued driving erratically till it exited the highway and the pursuit was terminated due to danger posed to other motorists, according to a statement released on Tuesday by state police.

Shortly after, Troop B Troopers and Officers from the Manchester Police Department arrived at the address of the vehicle's registered owner in Manchester where the vehicle and operator were quickly located and the operator was taken into custody without incident.

During an investigation it was determined that Travis Dahood, 42, was driving under the influence and his license was suspended. He was charged with Felony Reckless Conduct, Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, Disobeying a Police Officer, Operating After Suspension, Reckless Driving, and Negligent Driving. Dahood was released on cash bail pending an appearance in Hillsborough Superior Court in February.

All aspects of this case remain under investigation and anyone with information should contact Trooper William Moran at William.J.Moran@dos.nh.gov or (603) 451-9766.
