Manchester man, 60, died of multiple stab wounds, autopsy confirms

MANCHESTER - An autopsy on the 60-year-old man who died during a confrontation in Manchester on Tuesday died of multiple stab wounds, according to the state coroner's office.

Police got involved Tuesday around 7:45 a.m. when they responded to 434 Union St. Apt. 303, in response to multiple 911 calls. Upon arriving, Manchester Police observed a male, later identified as Ramadhani Idrisa Kiki, 39, on the corner of Union Street and Merrimack Street covered in blood and announcing that he had murdered someone.

Upon entering the apartment, Police found Derek Jones, 60, lying on the floor deceased.

Kiki was transported to a hospital. He has been charged with one count of Second-Degree Murder,

The suspect remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. An arraignment is yet to be scheduled.
