MANCHESTER - A Manchester man has been arrested in a shooting death that occurred on a city roadway Saturday afternoon.
Police got involved when they responded to the area of South Willow and Kaye streets around 3:25 p.m. for a report that a person had been shot. Upon arriving officers found Dzemal Cardakovic, 45, unresponsive, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Tyrese Harris, 22, of Manchester, was arrested soon after and charged with two counts of second-degree murder for: knowingly causing the death of Cardakovic, of Manchester, by shooting him with a firearm; and alternatively, for recklessly causing the death of Cardakovic.
Harris will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Manchester.
