ROCHESTER - Marcia Ann Scott, 75 of Mt. Carmel Nursing Care and Rehabilitation in Manchester died on September 5, 2014, after a period of failing health.

Born in South Berwick on March 24, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Ross) Meehan. She attended local schools including St. Michael's School.

She met and in 1957 married her husband Arthur P. Scott Sr,; he predeceased her in 2001. Marcia worked for many years and retired as an assembler at Davidson Rubber Company. She enjoyed time with young children, music and dogs.

Marcia is survived by her Daughter and son-in-law Tamara and Michael Houde of Rochester, sons Arthur P. Scott Jr and his partner Cindy of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Edwin D. Scott and his partner Katie of Manchester, sisters; Kathy Strong and her husband Howard and Leona Walker both of Rochester, brothers Bernard Meehan and his wife Catherine of Dover and Leon Meehan of Rochester, a goddaughter with whom she shared a particular closeness Lori Beathem-Strong and her wife Amy, as well as nieces and nephews.
