CONCORD - A Milford man was arrested on multiple charges following a high-speed chase on Interstate 93 early Friday.
Troopers attempted a traffic stop around 12:15 a.m. on a vehicle that was driving recklessly with no functioning tail lights in the northbound lanes of I-93.
Troopers activated their emergency lights and sirens, but the driver refused to stop and continued at speeds exceeding 115 mph, according to a Dept. of Safety press release.
The vehicle, a 2021 Toyota RAV4, failed to stay within its lane, repeatedly crossed over the fog lines of both shoulders of the interstate, and nearly collided with multiple other vehicles. The pursuit continued northbound into Canterbury where the driver lost control, nearly went off the roadway, regained control and came to a stop in the breakdown lane.
The driver, Tyler Neumann, 18, of Milford, was charged with felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor charges of disobeying an officer and operating without a valid license, and violations of reckless operation, lane control, and tail lamp/reflector. He was processed and released on personal recognizance bail pending a December hearing at Concord District Court.
