Nancy Fortier ... enjoyed joyrides to the beach; at 78

ROCHESTER - Nancy L Fortier of Rochester, NH passed away at the age of 78 on Wednesday afternoon, April 1, 2026. She is survived by her husband Lenn E Fortier, her son Paul L Georgiou, daughter in law Christine L Georgiou and grandchildren. Her grandchildren are LaKeisha, Cody, Alexis and Adrian.

Nancy was born and raised in Portsmouth, NH. She was the last of a family of 9 and was very lovingly close to her family. She moved to Somersworth, NH after splitting up with her first husband in 1974 with her son and mother. She worked very hard while raising her only son.

Nancy remained close with her siblings and their children and their children's children. A very tight knit and fun family and she loved the fact and kept those wonderful memories with great fondness.

She later met her husband Lenn, and they remained married for nearly forty years. She enjoyed joy rides to the beach and just riding in good weather and visits from family members. Unfortunately, it became more difficult for her to get out as she got older.

Nancy leaves warm memories in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her and I'm one of them. I love you, Ma.
