ROCHESTER - Alvina M. Beaulieu, 97, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover, after a long period of failing health.

Alivina was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada on Sept. 12, 1915, a daughter of Alfred and Julie (Roy) Violette and had been living in Rochester since 1944. She was the widow of Joseph A. Beaulieu who died in 1984. She was a member of the St. Ann Sodality at Holy Rosary Church in Rochester.

Surviving members of the family includes: five sons, Adrian Beaulieu, Roland Beaulieu, Norman Beaulieu, Ronald Beaulieu, all of Rochester, and Leo Beaulieu of Dummer; three daughters, Viola Batterbury of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Gisele Stone if Hampton Falls, and Linda Rouleau of Piedmont, S.C. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, N.H. on Monday, 8/26/13, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, following the visitation, at St. Mary's Church, 71 Lowell Street, Rochester, N.H, followed by burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
