MILTON - Andrew W. "Andy" Gagnon, 87, of Northeast Pond Road in Milton, died Oct. 27, 2013, at St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Dover.
Born Jan. 14, 1926, in Lawrence, Mass., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luger Gagnon, he had resided in Methuen, Mass., for many years and resided in Milton since 2001.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a shop teacher at Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School. He also had owned and operated Gagnon's TV Service in So. Lawrence, Mass. and he had worked as an engineer with AVCO Industries in Mass.
A communicant at St. Anthony's Church in Sanbornville, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a 4th Degree Knight. He enjoyed polka dancing with his wife Yvette and friends.
Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Yvette Marie (Daigle) Gagnon, he is survived by their two children: Gary Gagnon and Andrea Corso, five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, a brother Raymond Gagnon, also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters: Ida Bouchard, Blanche Letendre and Viola Ferona and a brother: Leon Gagnon.
