LEBANON - Bruce A. Ravenscroft, 56, of Lebanon, died Oct. 23 at home after a long illness.

He was born in Abington, Pa., on March 13, 1957, the son of Marshall and Elizabeth (Jenkins) Ravenscroft.

Educated in Pensacola, Fla., schools, he served with the Marines from 1980 to 1984.

He lived for a while in Louisiana and Georgia and then settled in New Hampshire with his mother in 1995 and moved to Lebanon in 2008.

At the time of his death he was employed as a marine electrician with the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Bruce enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved the outdoors, with all of its sounds, sights and creatures. He enjoyed photography, especially capturing the artistic aspect of nature.

Bruce spent a lot of time with the love of his life Denise Krekorian with whom he took in art shows, took drives through the countryside and picked apples, berries and pumpkins. He also enjoyed computer art and video games.

He was predeceased by his parents and by a sister and leaves no near surviving family.
