ROCHESTER - Dominick Biancavilla, 86, of Rochester died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at home after a period of failing health.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. the son of Vincenzo and Rosa (Renda) Biancavilla.

He was a Navy diver during World War II and the Korean War. He worked for the B & M Railroad for 30 years. Dominick enjoyed traveling, attending model railroad shows and gem shows.

The widow of Janice Biancavilla, he is survived by family members, Cathleen and Michael of, Rochester, Joline, of Portsmouth, Joanne, of Dover, Michael and Cindy, of Arizona; grandchildren, Jenna, Janice of Arizona, Andrew of N.Y.; and great granddaughter, Dylan L; sisters, Jean of N.Y., Mary of Vt. He was predeceased by a daughter Laurel.
