ROCHESTER - Pauline Rhodes Hilton, 94, formerly of 38 Autumn St., East Rochester, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at the Colonial Hill Nursing Facility.

Born May 29, 1919, in East Rochester, she was the daughter of Wilbert and Mercy (Stuart) Rhodes.

Pauline was married to Philip Hilton on Nov. 24, 1937, at the Rochester Baptist Church parsonage. She worked at Hubbard Shoe and then as a substitute clerk at the East Rochester Post Office. She was a member of True Memorial Baptist Church and former member of the East Rochester Baptist Church. She enjoyed making quilts, hooked rugs, many other crafts, and taking care of her grandchildren.

Members of her family include her children; Sandra MacKay of Strafford, and Theodore W Hilton and his wife Elaine of Nashua, 4 granddaughters, 5 great- granddaughters, 4 great-grandsons, and 2 great-great-grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip, her brother Harry C Rhodes and her sister Evelyn I Shorey.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the True Memorial Baptist Church Thanksgiving Dinner Fund, Ten Rod Road Rochester, N.H.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with visitation held 1 hour prior at the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St. Rochester N.H. 03867.

Burial will be in the Center Strafford Cemetery at a later date.
