Oct. 6 is deadline to change party affiliation prior to presidential primary

ROCHESTER - The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session to accept any corrections of the Checklist on Oct. 6, from 7- 7:30 p.m. and at the discretion of the supervisors for extended hours.

That is the last date registered voters may change their party affiliation prior to the Presidential Primary. New Voters may continue to register until election day, as permitted by law.

Location of the Supervisors Session is Rochester City Hall/Council Chambers, 31 Wakefield St.,
Rochester.

Physically disabled individuals who cannot visit City Hall to register to vote personally should contact the City Clerk's Office no later than 1 p.m. on Oct. 6 to make alternate arrangements. Any questions should be directed to the City Clerk's Office at 332-2130.
