ROCHESTER - Paul St. Clair, 86, formerly of Strafford, died October 12, 2021 at the Studley Home following a period of failing health.

Born in Berlin on July 2, 1935, he was the son of Marcelle (St.Clair) Lord and Albert St.Clair. He grew up in Rollinsford and graduated from Dover High School.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Pat) St. Clair in 2018. He is survived by his children David St.Clair and wife Leslie of Concord, Carole Luedtke and husband Jose of New Durham, Susan Rushton and husband Mark from Grafton, of Vermont, Philip St. Clair and wife Lisa of Epping, Robert Ellsworth and wife Mae of Seabrook, Cheri Fairbanks of Exeter, Cindy Landers and husband Joseph of North Hampton. He also leaves behind brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews many grand and great-grandchildren.

Paul enjoyed farming in his early years then became a well known contractor and was a hard worker all his life. He was a very active church member who will be missed by all.
