Police believe Plaistow woman's death may be result of possible murder/attempted suicide

PLAISTOW - State and local police are investigating the suspicious death of an adult female in Plaistow that occurred early Sunday.

Plaistow police got involved after receiving a 911 call round 6:15 a.m. on Sunday asking them to respond to a residence on Old County Road in Plaistow. Upon entering the home, they made contact with the reporting party and discovered a deceased adult female and an adult male suffering from injuries. The male was transported to the hospital.

While the investigation is just beginning, there does not appear to be any threat to the general public in connection with this situation, police say. Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible murder/ attempted suicide.
